Project NameUpgrade of Residential Solar Back Up System
Lusaka Zambia
Client Mr. Felix Phiri
Year2025 February

We’re thrilled to announce the successful installation of a 10kWh solar system in Lusaka, Zambia!

Lusaka, like many parts of Zambia, has been facing long periods of load shedding, sometimes lasting up to 24 hours, disrupting power in homes, offices, and shops. This has led to an increasing demand for reliable solar backup solutions, as people look for ways to cope with frequent power outages. However, the market is flooded with low-quality lithium-ion battery storage options, leaving many customers disappointed with systems that fail within just one or two years.
We’re grateful to our client in Lilayi for choosing us to solve their power woes. We replaced their old system with a new, high-quality BSLBATT Solar Battery Powerline-5 wall-mounted system, ensuring they have a durable and dependable backup solution. This system comes with our 10-year-plus guarantee, providing peace of mind with uninterrupted power for all their essential appliances.
Here’s what we installed:
▪︎ 1 x 5kW Solis Hybrid Inverter (New)
▪︎2 x 5.12kW BSL Powerline-5 Wall-Mounted Batteries (New)
▪︎6 x 340W JA Solar Panels( existing panels from old system)
We’re proud to deliver a long-lasting solar backup solution that meets our client’s needs and ensures reliable power for years to come.

Project NameUpgrade Construction of Ntowe Irrigation Scheme ( Nsanje District)
ClientEvangelical Association of Malawi (EAM)
Year2025 January

The official handover of the Ntowe Irrigation Scheme in Nsanje District, covering an impressive 15.6 hectares of irrigation area!
The scheme has been facing shortage of water from the existing 10m3 storage and one borehole. The project aimed at increasing water abstraction from two newly high yielding boreholes, construction of steel tank tower to hold 60m3 (6x10m3) reservoir and increase infield water delivery by constructing and installing 18 new hydrants.

A huge thank you to the Evangelical Association of Malawi for being an incredible Client and to the World Food Program (WFP) for their generous funding support.

Kudos to our dedicated team at Irritech Solution & Water Supply - ISWS for their outstanding work in bringing this vital irrigation project to life. Together, we’re making strides toward sustainable agriculture and food security!

Project NameDesign and Installation of Solar Off Grid System
ClientMary Queen of Peace
Year2024

Mary Queen of Peace in Chilomoni Blantyre is an education institution providing higher learning education in Blantyre. Through its project of constructing girls hostels in Mitsidi for learners, contracted Irritech Solution to design and install a Solar Off Grid system for their learners hostels accommodating 150 students in four hostels constructed. For each of the hostels the following system components have been installed;

» 10x425W Trinasolar Vertex monocrystalline PV modules. Providing a total of 4.25Kw power.

» 1x5.5kW Sunsynk Hybrid inverters

» 2x5.12kW BSL LiFePO lithium solar energy storage

Project NameDesign and Installation of Solar Min-Grid System
ClientKrizevac
Year2023

Krizevac in Chilomoni Blantyre through its project of constructing Technology Park in Chilomoni, contracted Irritech Solution to design and install a Solar Mini grid for their first university building. Below are the technical details of the system.

» 73x555W Longi monocrystalline PV modules. Providing a total of 40.5Kw power.

»3x15KVA Victron Energy Quattro Hybrid inverters (total 45KVA)

» 1x10Kw and 1x15Kw Fronius grid-tie inverters (total 25KW inverter power).

» 2x80/64 Freedom Won Lite LiFePO4 Lithium Energy Storage Batteries providing 160kWh power.

The system was designed and installed for the building 01 (a three-floor building) at the Technology Park as an off-grid system.

Project NameSupplying and Installation of PV solar Water Pump (Phalombe)
ClientInter Aid
Year2023

Inter Aid Phalombe, an NGO, contracted Irritech to install solar water supply systems in four locations as part of their Agroforestry project. These systems, including submersible pumps, solar modules, tank stands, and 500-litre tanks, were installed after conducting pumping tests in existing water sources. The project has enabled the community to access water near their agroforestry nurseries, facilitating increased seedling production for tree planting in Phalombe.

Project NameSupply and installation of solar backup system for server room
ClientBeehive
Year2023

A 10Kwh backup system was installed to ensure no power interruption for a server room. 2x5.12Kwh BSL powerline 5 wall mounted energy storage bank, and 2x5Kw Luxpower hybrid inverters.

Project NameConstruction of Incinerator and Placenta pit (Phalombe Chiringa)
ClientInterAid
Year2023

Inter Aid Phalombe, in collaboration with Phalombe DHO, contracted Irritech to construct an incinerator and placenta pit at Chiringa Health Center, which were in poor condition. Within four weeks, Irritech completed the construction and handed over the facilities. Staff at the health center can now utilize these crucial structures, essential for any health center with a maternity wing.

Project NameDrainage System Design and Construction (Phalombe)
ClientMwachiko Investments
Year2023

Due to waterlogged conditions in Phalombe, Irritech solution designed a drainage system at their newly constructed office park. A 171m underground drained was constructed to drain underground water which was filling the manholes.
